Studio OS — the company that runs itself, and still asks first¶
Studio OS is an operating system for running a company with a team of AI specialists who do the real work — reading the inbox, qualifying leads, drafting proposals, running projects, raising invoices, watching the numbers — while you stay in control of everything that leaves the building. Nothing consequential happens without your say-so, and everything that happens is visible, explained, and reversible.
Think of it as a calm control room for a small company. Your AI team works around the clock in the background. When something needs a human decision, it comes to you as a clear, one-glance card: here's what I want to do, here's why, approve or edit. You spend your time deciding, not doing.
This handbook shows you what that feels like — not through feature lists, but by following one real customer from their first email to a delivered project.
What Studio OS actually is¶
Most software makes you do the work faster. Studio OS does the work for you and brings you the decisions. The difference shows up everywhere:
| Running a company the usual way | Running it on Studio OS |
|---|---|
| You live in your inbox, triaging every message | Your AI team reads the inbox and only surfaces what matters |
| You draft the same kinds of emails over and over | Drafts are written for you; you review and send |
| Work falls through the cracks between people | Every lead, project, and task has an owner and a status |
| "What's actually going on right now?" is a guess | A live picture of the whole company, updated as it happens |
| Decisions and their reasons live in your head | Every decision is logged with the why behind it |
You are always the one who approves. The AI proposes; you dispose. That single principle — agents do the work, humans make the calls — is what makes an autonomous company something you can actually trust.

You (the operator)
Approve · Edit · Reject — one glance, one click
Behind that simple picture is a team of specialists, each owning one part of the business. You'll meet them properly in Your AI team — but in short:
- Uku is the brain that keeps the whole picture and briefs you each morning.
- Kairi turns strangers into clients — inbox, leads, proposals, follow-ups.
- Madis turns won work into finished projects — the delivery manager.
- Liisa handles the money — invoices and finance.
- Marta runs workshops and retreats. Ralf does research. Piret watches staffing.
They don't step on each other. Each reads only what it needs, and they hand work to one another cleanly — so a customer request is picked up once, by the right specialist, and carried all the way through.
The promise, in three lines¶
- It does the work. Reading, drafting, chasing, invoicing, tracking — continuously, in the background.
- You keep control. Anything that touches the outside world — an email, an invoice, a commitment — waits for your approval, with the reasoning attached.
- Nothing is a black box. Every action, every decision, every hand-off is on a timeline you can read.
How to read this handbook¶
We'll follow Sofia, a prospective customer, through her entire journey — and show you what you see on screen at every step.
| Chapter | What you'll see |
|---|---|
| Your AI team | The specialists who run your company, in plain language |
| Winning the work | Sofia's cold email becomes a qualified lead, a sent proposal, and a won deal |
| Running the project | The won deal becomes a live project: real tasks, real communication, moving through stages to done |
| Operating Studio OS | Your day as the operator — the approval inbox, staying in control, and bringing teammates into the work |
By the end you'll understand not just what Studio OS does, but what it feels like to run a company on it: quiet, legible, and firmly in your hands.
A note on the story. Sofia and her company are an illustrative example, but every step maps to how Studio OS actually behaves. The screens, the decisions, and the hand-offs are real.
